This flag was adopted on Sept. 22, 1969.
The green represents the northern forested areas of the province and the yellow symbolizes the southern grain field areas. The shield of arms, granted on August 25, 1906 appears in the the upper hoist. The fly is charged with the western red lily, which is the floral emblem of the province.
The flag is made of 100% polyester. They also have two brass grommets for easy attachment.
