The flag of Bermuda has the Lion in the coat of arms holds a shield depicting the shipwreck of the Sea Venture in 1609. Bermuda is the only British colony that adopted the Red Ensign instead of the blue as its local flag on land. This may be because the first settlers arrived on board merchant ships flying the Red Ensign.
The flag is made of 100% polyester. They also have two brass grommets for easy attachment.
