The flag of Assyria was adopted in 1971. The golden circle at the center represents the sun which is exploding and leaping flames, the four pointed star surrounding the sun symbolizes the land, it light blue color symbolizing tranquility. The wavy stripes represent the three major rivers.
The flag is made of 100% polyester. They also have two brass grommets for easy attachment.
